Are you an experienced Camunda 8 BPM backend developer?

At Qaracter , we are looking for a Camunda 8 and Java/Spring Boot specialist. Join a backend team building critical workflow and process automation platforms in a large‑scale financial environment. and modern cloud‑native architecture.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain BPMN workflows using Camunda Platform 8 .
• Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems via REST APIs .
• Develop and maintain backend services in Java (17+) and Spring Boot within microservices architectures .
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases , ensuring proper data modeling and performance optimization.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to build scalable, reliable solutions.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Camunda 8 and BPMN-based workflows.
• Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem .
• Experience integrating backend services using RESTful APIs .
• Solid understanding of microservices-based architectures .
• Experience with observability tools such as ElasticSearch, Kibana, Dynatrace, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical decisions
• English level B2+/C1

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with AWS or OpenShift environments.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments and cloud-native principles.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes , Kafka , or RabbitMQ .
• Additional experience with cloud platforms.
