Responsibilities:

• Setup of base services and operations on Kubernetes clusters (Cert Manager, Ingress, Monitoring, etc.)
• Setup and operation of ML tools on Kubernetes and/or Big Data Platform / tools (e.g. Spark, NiFi, Trino, and more)
• Configuration/maintenance of GitOps and IaC (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Ansible)
• Conducting PoCs for new tools
• Implementation of tools, practices and strategies to protect the tools/platforms (not a must-have)
• Operation of the Big Data Platform
• From mid-year onwards: Service Level Gold
• From end of year onwards: Service Level Platinum

Requirements:

• Cloud Engineering and Kubernetes (provisioning of cloud services)
• Automation of life-cycle management in cloud environments (GitOps, Flux, Helm)
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Knowledge of Big Data
• High level of German
