Remote AWS Cloud / Automation Engineer - Contract – Energy / Commodities

OB Collective are currently working with a partner of ours in the Energy / Commodities space who are growing out their presence across Europe and looking for a strong Senior level AWS Cloud / Automation Engineer to join their scaling tech team.

The incoming engineer will be responsible for scaling their AWS practices (including migrating services from On-Prem environments to AWS), whilst driving Automation and IaC efforts across their broader Infrastructure estate.

To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and AWS Services (5 years minimum)
• Comfortable designing, implementing, and automating AWS Infrastructure
• Extensive hands-on IaC work with Terraform
• Automation experience with Ansible
• Prior experience in Linux, Network and Security driven environments (with knowledge on best practices)
• Database knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Prior work across Observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana

This is a remote B2B contract opening for engineers based in Spain, for an initial 6 months, and can offer £275-325 p/day.
