What you will do
- Design and build the core AI agent logic that powers mission-critical dispute workflows: intake classification, evidence evaluation, win probability scoring, and scheme submission to Mastercard and Visa
- Engineer the orchestration layer that combines LLM capabilities with deterministic business rules, ensuring every agent decision is auditable and reliable
- Build evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure agent accuracy, and systematically improve performance across complex dispute scenarios
- Integrate AI agent outputs with banking systems via APIs, translating probabilistic model outputs into precise banking actions
- Collaborate directly with clients and the delivery team to understand real operational edge cases, then ship solutions that handle them
- Challenge the traditional way of writing software: find the right balance between probabilistic and deterministic approaches for each problem
What you need
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python
- Experience building AI/ML-powered products, agentic workflows, or LLM-based systems in production
- Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and the practical challenges of deploying AI in high-stakes environments
- Product engineering mindset: you care about the user problem as much as the technical solution, and you proactively suggest ideas
- Experience with API development (REST/FastAPI) and modern backend infrastructure
- Comfortable working in a regulated fintech environment where precision matters
- English fluency required. Additional European languages are a strong plus
