Role Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and enabling the end‑to‑end software development and deployment lifecycle across GEB. The role ensures that development activities—performed both in‑house and by overseas/external partners—run smoothly, reliably, and in line with GEB standards.
The position focuses on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational stability across multiple platforms including Azure Cloud, Databricks, Salesforce, Power Automate, and other tools currently used or introduced in the future by GEB.
The role is hands‑on and works closely with developers, data engineers, product owners, and IT/security teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support code development, unit testing, integration testing, and end‑to‑end testing across DEV, STG, and PROD environments.
- Perform development and deployment activities with internal teams and coordination with external/offshore development partners.
- Manage and operate cloud infrastructure , primarily on Microsoft Azure , including Databricks and Google Cloud Platform.
- Ensure reliable deployment, configuration, and operation of applications, data pipelines, and supporting services.
- Support DevOps and operational activities for Databricks, and Automate / Power Platform solutions.
- Implement and maintain basic monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system availability and performance.
- Apply security best practices such as access control, secrets management, and compliance with GEB security guidelines.
- Contribute to DevOps standards, documentation, runbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support onboarding and operational readiness of new tools and platforms adopted by GEB.
Skills & Competences
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar tools).
- Experience with Databricks deployments and operations.
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Exposure to Salesforce and Power Automate / Power Platform from a DevOps or operational perspective.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing practices (unit, integration, end‑to‑end), and release management.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple applications and teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
