At HP SCDS, we’re looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to join our Innovation & Incubation team in León.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on, builder‑minded engineer with a strong software engineering background and a passion for applied AI. You’ll work on real products, prototypes, and MVPs, helping transform ideas into scalable, production‑ready solutions across different business contexts.

What will you do?

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications.
• Build prototypes and MVPs quickly in different business contexts.
• Integrate AI models (LLMs, Computer Vision) into real products.
• Design and implement AI agent‑based architectures and complex workflows.
• Develop data pipelines and analytics systems.
• Automate processes using tools such as n8n.
• Deploy, monitor and scale solutions in Cloud and Edge environments.
• Manage the ML lifecycle: experimentation, tracking, and deployment.
• Contribute to technical decisions and architecture definition.
• Validate MVPs using metrics, analytics and feedback loops.

✅ What we’re looking for

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development.
• System architecture design skills .
• Solid web development background , including: backend (Python, Flask, FastAPI, Java, Spring, .NET Core, Go), frontend (JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Angular) and relational (SQL) and non‑relational databases (document‑based such as MongoDB or CouchDB; key‑value stores such as Redis or DynamoDB).
• Hands‑on work with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Good understanding of AI technologies , including Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision and agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph or similar).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools , including experiment tracking (MLflow or similar) and model deployment and monitoring.
• Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in process automation using tools like n8n, Zapier or similar.
• Knowledge of data processing and analysis .
• Strong command of software development best practices (testing, design patterns, OOP, CI/CD, Git).
• Proficiency in strongly typed languages (Java, C#, Go, C++, Rust, etc.).
• Builder mindset : ability to iterate quickly and turn ideas into products.
• High level of proactivity, autonomy and ownership .
• Ability to work with ambiguity and turn it into execution .
• Clear and effective communication skills in English and Spanish .
• Curiosity for new technologies , especially applied AI.
• Previous exposure to innovation, incubation, or startup environments .
• Experience leading projects or small teams is a plus.
