We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer (GCP Specialist) to join an exciting project with a leading client in the banking sector. You will be part of an international environment focused on building and evolving a scalable cloud data platform.

Our goal is to deliver high-performance, maintainable, and cost-efficient data architectures that support advanced analytics and reporting use cases, leveraging modern technologies on Google Cloud Platform.

This is you

• You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in a data environment
• Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
• Experience with Cloud Composer or similar orchestration tools
• Very good SQL skills and strong programming skills in Python (or alternatively Java/Scala)
• Solid understanding of data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Data Vault)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a plus
• You work in an independent, structured, and proactive way
• Experience in international projects is an advantage
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders in English

This is your role

• Design and implement modern data architectures on Google Cloud Platform
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Develop and maintain data warehouse/lakehouse solutions using BigQuery
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes
• Ensure performance and cost optimization within the GCP environment
• Define and implement data governance, security, and access frameworks
• Collaborate and coordinate technically with international stakeholders
