Description

I am currently partnered exclusively with a leading company in the Personal Care Chemicals industry. We are currently in search for an experienced Sales professional with expertise in the Personal Care Chemicals industry.

*This is a remote position, candidate must be based in Europe.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales management experience, with a proven track record in the personal care chemicals industry.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing major accounts and conducting high-level negotiations.
  • Deep knowledge of the personal care chemical sector and trends, leveraging this understanding in strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and grow effective customer relationships.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue and profitability for assigned customers/markets.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations for product reliability, service, and responsiveness for assigned accounts.
  • Work with customers to facilitate the day-to-day business including information requests, pricing updates, review of quality complaints/corrective actions, regulatory requests, shipment and delivery timing, and coordinate getting information to the plants
  • Interact with Product Development to provide support during product development process.
  • Negotiates pricing, volume, and terms with customers that maximize company financial and strategic objectives.
  • Provides information needed for accurate volume forecasts and sales to Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing to support capacity planning and line scheduling processes.
  • Effectively interacts with customers and brokers to strengthen relationship and supply position.
  • Ensures that perceived and potential customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Develops annual sales and expense budget and sales forecasts.
  • Understands and determines product pricing based on product value proposition and market pricing.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with ability to close deals.
  • React effectively to market pricing actions and competitive threats.
  • Able to perform cost benefit analyses and make decisions, set priorities, or choose goals on the basis of inputs and outputs.
  • Prepares timely sales reports, teleconferencing notes, weekly reports, loads and updates projects into CRM.
  • Travel: approximately 50%
