We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join high-impact projects in the railway signaling domain , with a focus on Traffic Management Systems (ATS/TMS) .
Responsibilities
- Design and development of the ATS (Automatic Train Supervision) subsystem
- Development of algorithms and software components for railway traffic management systems
- Definition and documentation of software and interface specifications (system & software level)
- Review of technical documentation and validation of software modules ensuring quality and compliance
- Support system integration activities across the full development lifecycle ( V-model )
- Support laboratory testing and remote field activities (including occasional night activities, ~5–6 per year)
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams in safety-critical environments
Requirements
- Experience in software development with one or more of the following languages: Java (preferred), C++, C#
- Experience in railway systems (preferred) or other safety-critical industries (automotive, aerospace, industrial, energy)
- Knowledge of railway signaling systems such as: ATS, TMS, ETCS, ERTMS, CBTC
- Experience working with V-model / V-cycle development processes
- Familiarity with railway standards (nice to have): CENELEC (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129)
- Understanding of the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, validation
- Good command of English
Nice to have
- Experience with React or frontend technologies
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS )
- Knowledge of RAMS / SIL / safety-critical systems
