Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Palantir Foundry) – Spain

Location: Spain (primarily remote, occasional travel)

Engagement: Contract / Contract-to-Perm / Permanent

Overview

We are hiring a two Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to lead delivery on a major enterprise data transformation programme in Spain. You will work directly with the customer, owning the design and implementation of scalable solutions using Palantir Foundry , while acting as the technical lead across the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Palantir Foundry solutions
• Design and build data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and transformations
• Develop and optimise ontology models to support operational use cases
• Build backend services and application layers (workflows, dashboards)
• Ensure strong data governance, including lineage, access control, and auditability
• Engage directly with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Lead and mentor engineers, setting best practices and delivery standards

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (pipelines, ontology, application layer)
• Solid backend/data engineering skills (Python, PySpark, distributed systems)
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms
• Good understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Experience working directly with clients in complex environments
• Strong communication skills (English required; Spanish beneficial)

Working Model

• Primarily remote within Spain
• Occasional travel for key workshops, stakeholder sessions, and major events
