We are looking for a Senior Presales Solutions Architect to join our Presale practice. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between our enterprise private-sector clients and our software engineering teams. You will design innovative, cloud-native application architectures, plan complex legacy modernization journeys, and craft winning proposals. By combining a deep background in software development with strong business acumen, you will help clients accelerate their digital transformation, improve time-to-market, and integrate next-generation technologies like Generative AI into their core business applications.
Experience
- 7–10+ years in the IT industry, starting with a strong foundation as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Application Architect.
- 4+ years of direct experience in pre-sales, client interlocutor or IT consulting roles, focused on mid-market and large enterprise accounts within the private sector.
- Proven track record of winning application development or modernization deals with contract values exceeding €500K.
Responsibilities
- Sales Cycle Leadership: Own the technical presales strategy for Custom Software Development, Application Modernization, and Systems Integration opportunities (RFI, RFP, SoW, PoC).
- Architecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures, including microservices, event-driven patterns, serverless computing, and API-led connectivity.
- Estimation & Sizing: Translate high-level business requirements into technical backlogs. Define team topologies (Agile squads), estimate development efforts, and build pricing models (Fixed Price, Time & Materials, or Capacity-based).
- Client Engagement: Lead technical discovery workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and architecture reviews with client stakeholders ranging from Lead Developers to VP of Engineering and CIOs.
- Solution Strategy: Define the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle for proposed solutions, incorporating DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Data/AI, and Security presales teams to deliver cohesive, multi-domain solutions.
- Thought Leadership & Assets: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal sales teams. Build reusable presales assets, reference architectures, and go-to-market offerings for the Applications practice.
