Description

We are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to join a dynamic and growing organization within the scientific and analytical instrumentation sector. In this role, you will be responsible for selling selected laboratory instruments, as well as consumables and services, while developing and qualifying sales leads for the field-based sales team.

You will act as a key link between customers and the sales organization, using CRM and sales enablement tools to support business growth and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and proactively propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions
  • Generate and expand sales opportunities through market research and identification of potential clients
  • Reach out to new prospects, establish long-term customer relationships, and deliver clear technical and product-related guidance
  • Create and manage quotations while supporting the sales cycle from initial contact to opportunity handover
  • Assess and qualify leads by evaluating customer needs, available budget, purchasing timelines, and decision-makers, ensuring accurate CRM documentation
  • Collaborate closely with the field sales team to achieve common revenue goals and enhance overall customer management
  • Maintain engagement with early-stage or non-ready leads to support future field sales visits and proposal preparation
  • Leverage CRM and sales support tools to deliver high-quality customer service and ensure visibility of all sales activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Native or fluent level of Spanish and English ; proficiency in English is highly desirable
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills across phone, written, and verbal channels, with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Proven ability to build and sustain productive professional relationships
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude and commitment to achieving team and company objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, ideally Chemistry, Agriculture, or Food Science & Technology
