Role Summary
Build and operationalize data science models for demand forecasting, dairy yield optimization, cheese quality grading, and supply chain analytics
Apply statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and ML techniques using Databricks and GCP Vertex AI across regional and global operations.
Translate complex data patterns into actionable business insights for planning, procurement, and manufacturing decisions.
Must-Have Skills
- Statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
- Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and PySpark for data science workflows
- Databricks or GCP Vertex AI notebooks and pipeline development
- Demand forecasting and time series analysis techniques
- Feature engineering, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Data visualization and storytelling (PowerBI, Matplotlib, Plotly)
- AI/ML model lifecycle management and performance monitoring (MLflow)
- Experience applying GenAI/LLMs for data augmentation and insight generation
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Dairy/food manufacturing domain knowledge and supply chain analytics
- Blue Yonder (JDA) demand sensing and planning integration
- GCP Professional Data Engineer or ML Engineer certification
- MLOps practices (model versioning, A/B testing, drift detection)
- NLP and LLM experience (Google Gemini, prompt engineering)
- Optimization algorithms (linear programming, simulation)
- Computer vision applications in manufacturing quality
