A leading international infrastructure organisation is expanding its digital engineering capability in Madrid and is hiring a Lead Solution Engineer to drive technical excellence across its platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining architecture, coding, and engineering mentorship. You’ll shape solutions end-to-end, steer engineers on design and code quality, and ensure production-ready systems aligned with modern DevOps practices.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and system design.
• Stay hands-on in code across a polyglot environment.
• Set engineering standards and raise the bar on code quality.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Guide teams in agile delivery frameworks.
• Embed AI-assisted (“vibe”) coding into everyday engineering workflows while maintaining rigorous quality standards.

What You Bring

• Strong full-stack development background with true end-to-end ownership.
• Polyglot engineering experience (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript/Node, Go or similar).
• Confident, demonstrable experience with vibe coding (AI-assisted development) as a core part of your engineering workflow.
• Proven experience building and deploying production-ready, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms, and DevOps principles.
• Experience leading engineers technically within agile environments.
• High standards around clean architecture, testing, maintainability, and operational readiness.
