Senior Workplace Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Workplace Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of a modern digital workplace environment across a global organisation. You will take ownership of endpoint strategy, identity integration, security compliance and user experience, ensuring scalable and secure solutions that support business growth.

This is a hands-on technical role with strategic input, ideal for someone experienced in enterprise-scale Modern Workplace transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise endpoint management solutions
• Design and manage environments across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID
• Implement and optimise Autopilot and zero-touch device provisioning
• Develop and enforce Conditional Access, compliance policies and endpoint security baselines
• Support and enhance virtual desktop environments such as Citrix Workspace or VMware Horizon
• Drive automation through PowerShell scripting and configuration-as-code principles
• Lead major upgrades, migrations and workplace transformation projects
• Act as 3rd line escalation point for complex EUC issues
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure and Cloud teams to align workplace strategy
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in Workplace, EUC or Endpoint Engineering roles
• Strong experience with Microsoft endpoint and identity ecosystem
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale device rollouts
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, device hardening and patch management
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles
• PowerShell scripting capability
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred

Salary:

€75,000 – €95,000 depending on experience + benefits
