Software Engineer (Java/Python/AWS)

9‑month Contract | Start ASAP

Location: Madrid or Remote within Europe (monthly on‑site visit required)

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team on an initial 9‑month contract, starting as soon as possible. You’ll work on high‑impact backend and cloud‑native services, collaborating with a cross‑functional engineering group.

What you’ll work with

• Java and Python for backend development
• AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, API Gateway and CDK
• Building scalable, event‑driven and serverless architectures
• Contributing to design, development, testing and deployment of cloud solutions

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with Java and/or Python
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS serverless technologies
• Ability to design and deliver high‑quality, maintainable code
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Based in Madrid (Hybrid) or anywhere in Europe with willingness to travel to Madrid once per month
