Job: (Senior) AI Engineer / Full Time

Location: France, Remote / Hybrid

I am partnering with a French DeepTech company who have developed their own AI Driven Drone Inspection platform used on large-scale solar assets.

Their platform automatically captures and analyzes visual and thermal data to detect faults, reducing inspection time and operational costs while improving reliability across distributed sites.

They are looking for a (Senior) AI Engineer to join their Tech Team and work on the development of classical Computer Vision & State of the Art Deep Learning models to power their drone inspection platform for large-scale solar assets.

This is a Senior position with true autonomy and ownership of your work.

Your Responsibilities

Build & Improve Vision Models

• Develop models for defect detection, segmentation, classification, and anomaly detection
• Work with RGB and thermal drone imagery at scale
• Improve model robustness across lighting, weather, and environmental variability
• Design training pipelines and evaluation frameworks
• Fine-tune and benchmark models on large aerial datasets
• Implement data augmentation and domain adaptation strategies
• Deploy models into scalable cloud or edge environments
• Improve inference speed and performance
• Monitor model performance in real-world conditions

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years experience in computer vision / deep learning
• Strong experience with object detection, segmentation, or anomaly detection
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Experience handling large image datasets
• Solid software engineering practices (Git, clean code, testing)
• Experience deploying models into production environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with thermal imaging
• Geospatial or remote sensing background
• Startup or fast-paced product experience
• MLOps or cloud deployment experience
