Senior Backend Developer Contract Role:

Day Rate: €350-€380 per day

8-12 month contract

You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers. You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals
  • Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code
  • Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles
  • Participate in technical decision-making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership

Your Team

You’ll join a large Product Engineering organization, structured into small cross-functional teams across multiple domains, including:

  • Customer onboarding, account management, and compliance
  • Payments and financial operations
  • Platform systems, integrations, and monetization
  • Cash flow management and bookkeeping tools
  • Collaborative accounting and pre-accounting solutions

Each team typically includes 6–8 backend engineers and owns its product scope end to end.

The Mission

AiDP is seeking a results-oriented Freelance Sales Specialist to spearhead our entry into the Spanish accounting sector. Your goal is to eliminate the “cold start” by leveraging your existing network to identify strategic distribution partners and close high-value accounts among Spain’s leading Despachos Profesionales and Asesorías . You will help firms move beyond simple data extraction to an “Agentic AI” workflow that understands the context of complex financial documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Development: Identify and onboard 3–5 strategic distribution partners, such as IT consultancies for Gestorías , ERP integrators, or industry-specific software resellers.
  • Direct “Spearhead” Sales: Drive high-touch prospecting into C-suite roles and Managing Partners within large Spanish accounting firms, law firms, and real estate developers.
  • Vertical Adaptation: Use our existing success templates to pitch specialized AI Agents to new Spanish verticals, focusing on high-volume document environments.
  • Localized Feedback Loop: Provide technical feedback on Spanish-specific compliance and document standards to the product team, ensuring the AI adapts to local bookkeeping nuances.

Requirements

  • The Network: An active, established “Rolodex” of C-level contacts or Partners within the Spanish Asesoría , Gestoría , and Professional Services landscape.
  • Industry Experience: A proven track record of selling B2B SaaS, Fintech, or AI solutions in the Spanish market, ideally with experience in the accounting or tax software vertical.
  • Technical Fluency: The ability to clearly articulate the difference between traditional OCR and AiDP’s Agentic workflows and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) validation layers.
  • Language: Fluent Spanish (professional proficiency) and Professional English.
